WATERPROOF
Water column pressure a measurement of a material's ability to resist water penetration under pressure. When stated as "waterproof between 5,000 MM - 10,000 MM" for Crystal Rainbow's outerwear, it refers to the water column pressure that the material can withstand.
The water column pressure is measured by determining how much water in millimeters can be held by one square centimeter of the material before the water penetrates. The higher the water column pressure, the more water the material can withstand.

WATER REPELLENT
Means that the material is impregnated and provides light protection against rain and wind.

BREATHABLE
Breathability between 3,000 MP - 8,000 MP: This indicates the material's ability to allow moisture and vapor to pass through and thus keep you comfortable.

WINDPROOF
Our materials are designed to protect against wind penetration and retain warmth.

GLUED SEAM
This is a construction method where the seams are sealed or reinforced to prevent water from entering through holes or weak points.

MEMBRANE AND IMPREGNATED WITH BIONIC FINISH ECO. – RODULF GROUP
Bionic Finish Eco and Rodulf group is based on a fluorine-free and environmentally friendly formula that uses biodegradable ingredients. This formula helps to reduce potentially harmful substances in textiles and minimize their impact on the environment.

The primary function is to make textiles water-repellent or waterproof. It forms a protective barrier that prevents water from penetrating the fibers. This helps keep you dry and protected in wet weather conditions.

In addition to water repellency, Bionic Finish Eco can also have additional properties such as oil repellency and dirt repellence, making it easier to clean and maintain the garment.

INSULATION WITH 3M THINSULATE
We isolate our designs between 100g - 250g. 3M Thinsulate, which is known for its light weight and excellent ability to retain heat and regulate body temperature in different environments. This innovative insulation is as light as natural down, but at the same time has a high degree of breathability and delivers extreme warmth, even in extreme conditions.

A characteristic feature of 3M Thinsulate is that it is an animal and environmentally friendly insulation that uses synthetic fibers produced in a sustainable way. This means that the insulation does not require the use of natural animal fibers and yet achieves high standards of thermal insulation and comfort.
